Jimmy and Kristen,

Thank you so much for letting us know what is going on. Over the last few days, we have not stopped praying for you. Each time we drive or walk past your home, we consciously use it as a reminder to pray for your family. I believe that in Christ, there is always hope. Kristen - your email below is so beautiful. Your words have inspired me, truly. Isn't it true, the humble call of parenting? We have only known your family a short time, but I can not imagine a more loving, caring, genuine family for Little Z to have joined. Your family has blessed us in each encounter - we've actually had "talks" about how blessed and moved we have been by a few seemingly small actions on your part. You guys have really figured out the servanthood aspect of following Christ. We've learned from your example already. Zachary is so blessed to have you as his parents.

We are here to serve you however that may be. Although we've not known one another long, please don't let that stop you from asking. We are honored to help how we can.....babysitting, meals, coffee (in my book, a little bit of coffee can go a LONG way!!). At the very least, know we are praying. We believe prayer is truly powerful, and know that you will feel the comfort and the strength of those around you praying.

This is the prayer that comes to my heart each time I pray for sweet family, including your newest member Little Z:

Colossians 1
For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light.

In Him,
Jenni Spuler
